It is not the worst place in the world, but it is not good. The gym is old, and it is in what is simply a store front. Very sketchy place to because so many of those there are on "supplements." The back weight room is very intimidating because it is just the regulars back there. The kids at the front desk are good, but I am not sure what it is like in the morning.Locker Rooms were recently redone but look worse than before because in the men's room the floor is uneven. Also, the classes are terrible and I was embarrassed for having gone and taken one. Also, lights go out all of a sudden throughout the gym. I would suggest the YMCA, but if you cannot afford the Y, go here (and suffer). Just know it's gross and weird. I left recently and have no regrets.
Great Gym to work out at. The new owner is amazing! Best prices for any gym in Central Bucks and the nicest facility! Classes are great and so are the newly updated equipment; moreover, those working their are extremely friendly, to an extent where coming to the gym is no longer seen as a difficult task. I have been working out here for a while, and I love Doylestown Fitness Center!
I love this gym! The people are all so nice, creating a welcoming, judgement free community. In classes, instructors ensure that people of all skill levels are able to participate and have a good workout. Also, the recent renovations, especially to the showers in the locker rooms, look great!
This is my favorite gym. I came in using their free two day trial and fell in love with it! I am now a member and am excited to try out their tanning tonight. I will keep you posted... XD. Update: Tanning was amazing and I appreciated the free supplies they provided. Awesome Gym !
I have been coming to Doylestown Fitness Center for about a year and a half, and in that time I have seen so much positive change through the new owner. She has updated the bathrooms, machinery, and general aesthetic of the gym so that it is a much more enjoyable experience working out. Everyone is super nice and it’s great getting to know all of the regulars, plus the prices are very reasonable compared to other gyms in the area!
