We have enjoyed this theater in the past. Until 4 weeks ago when we had a bad experience. My husband I attend over 100 films a year and many are at this theater were we purchase refreshments as well. We arrived on a Thursday evening around 4pm and the line was fairly short. Our ticket sales person was on the older side and seemed a little unhappy that afternoon. We had paid for our tickets and had started to walk towards the theater and then he requested to check my husbands man bag 6" x 7" for weapons, he opened each compartment and sales agent still was not satisfied and was instructed to empty the contents on the counter. We felt this too invasive and decided to request a refund. The manger was called and did not even look up at us when I requested an explanation or ask for a security guard to perform the search. We are totally for security, but this was too invasive and public. We will not be returning soon and encourage of friends to do the same.
Clean place, good screens. I only knock off a star because there are no kiosks for people to purchase their own tickets (slowing down a walk in and get a ticket quickly experience) and the walkway to the theaters is a fairly narrow corridor (that can get crowded on a busy day and make it difficult to get past slow moving large groups).
14 dollars for tickets to a 2d movie with outdated seats that feel like wood and was placed in a theater that clearly hadn't been cleaned for 2-3 movies.
Pretty standard place, not much of an expensive game room, clean, good seats, popcorn I enjoyed.
I just moved to the area, and I've been here a few times, it was a pretty good experience the first 2 times. However last time I went there, I was trying to see a one day event for the movie No Game No Life: Zero, and it was hard to get a ride there. I asked about the movie since the website said it would play here, and it took a while for them to understand what I was trying to ask about. Then after about 15 minutes the two people understood and told me they don't do one day events here.
