One of my favorite places to take my camera for a walk. There's always something new to see. Lots of trails, Lake Galena, Peace Valley Nature Center, wildlife, woods, meadows, boating. There's nothing not to like about Peace Valley Park.
Lovely park. Love to walk or bike around the lake. About 6 miles with freshly paved path. Great for dog walking, kids, picnics. Natural area at one end of the plan, great for bird watching, hiking short trails.
It's beautiful, has a variety of paved trails and places to sit, eat and rest. Has shaded as well as open air trails. Can rest a canoe or bring your own. Lots of parking lots too. Pet friendly too.
Lovely peaceful place in the early mornings. Bald Eagles, Deer, Foxes, all manner of birds and even a family of mink can be seen. The park is wonderful for boating, walking, cycling and just thinking. It gets more boisterous on holidays and afternoons with group picnics and events.
Awesome place to gather with friends and family for sports picnics fishing playgrounds cookouts bike riding walks runs boating exploring. Tons to do. Playgrounds for the kids accompanied by tables with an overhead structure for weather protection. Beautiful scenery and trails. Would highly recommend for family outings and fishing trips. I fish cats and bass here all the time with great success right from the shoreline.
