Don't go to this allergist. Very unprofessional and I to was told my eye rash was from make up which I don't wear often and then was told it could be my dog. Had to go back for testing to be done at the Doylestown office and according to their websites address and directions the gps took me to 611. I called the Blue bell office but the office was closed, of course couldn't speak to a person was transferred to the answering service and she was useless. I had to suggest to her to please have the doc on call, call me. The doc on call had no idea where the Doylestown office was and he told me he couldn't call Dr J that was suppose to do my testing, he was busy with emergency patients. So basically he made it very clear other patience were more important then me. I will never go to this practice again.

Dr. Jakabovics is a terrible and impersonal doctor. I went in with an eye rash and many other symptoms (pelvic pain, gastrointestinal issues, indigestion, hives on my legs, etc.). I had been on prednisone and my eyes looked way better than they had been. I showed her pictures and said I have to figure out what I'm eating that's causing this. She proceeded to say "it's your makeup." I almost burst out laughing because clearly I wasn't wearing any. Sorry for not being a typical girl? I said no. She then said it must be the lotion I put on my face, which I've never done I my entire life. I don't put anything on my face. I even use all natural shampoo. Then she said "it's poison ivy or poison sumac from your dog". I'm immune to poison ivy. When I was younger, I used to rub it all over myself and I never got anything from it. Also, my dog doesn't go into the woods or anything (not to mention it was October when this showed up). It's February now and it still shows up on and off. Definitely not poison ivy or sumac. She said, "trust me." Any Doctor that needs to say trust me is a Doctor you definitely don't want to go see. She basically told me that having any allergy tests done is pointless. I left the office after 10 minutes. Spent $40. What a complete misleading waste of my time. DO NOT GO HERE.
Dr Dhawan was very thorough, answered all of my questions and came up with a treatment plan that had me feeling like myself in no time!
I have been going to this office for almost 5 years for allergy shots. (I had allergy testing in this office and began going for monthly injections at age 57). Dr. Jakabovics and her staff have helped me to become virtually allergy free. Dr. J. is up front with what results to expect. Now I no longer need allergy medications!! Yay! The technicians who give the shots are friendly, kind, caring individuals, and they give professional care. The shot feels like a momentary tiny pinch; not a big deal. The receptionist is professional and courteous, very helpful, and always has a smile for the patients. I have rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes to be given my allergy shot when I had an appointment. (If you do the walk-in appointment, the wait could be longer if there are a lot of people ahead of you). Once you are given your injection, you wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes, and then are checked for a reaction to the injection. I always take something with me to read, and the time always goes by fast. I would definitely recommend this office to an allergy sufferer.
This place is the worst. I'm stuck going here as it's the only allergist my insurance covers. Getting allergy shots is an absolute nightmare, whether it's on their open allergy shot day or on a day when you schedule an appt you will wait and wait and wait and wait. I don't understand why you have to make an appointment for an allergy shot, they never see you at your appointment time. I never had issues like this with my old allergist under my old insurance. Very unprofessional, clearly not properly staffed either. If you have other options, explore them first, only go here as a last possible resort.
