Truly the worst car buying experience I've ever had and I'm not a tough one to please. Agreed to pay X amount of dollars for a used truck. FB agreed to fix 3 issues identified at time of sale. Received a call 2 days later stating truck was ready for pick up. However they did not address any of the 3 issues and I was told they thought these issues "would resolve on their own in time". Also know that I had it in writing that they would fix these 3 issues. Over the next 5 days my truck spends time between service and detail but could never receive a clear answer to what was happening. Finally, 10 days after the sale I get another call stating the vehicle is ready. I leave work early and make the 1.5 hour commute to pick it up. I never even made it inside the building. 1 of the 3 issues promised to be fixed were addressed. The other 2 were ignored. I was told it would have cost too much to do what they agreed to do, even tho I had it in writing. At this point I no longer wanted the vehicle solely because what I had been through with these people. The communication throughout the place is laughable and not a single person there can spend any extra time with you to understand what you want. It's all about making a sale. I have to say the return was hassle free however. Stay far far far away from these bozos. I would assume they take advantage of their clients regularly. I found this to be absolutely shocking business ethics from a dealership of its size.
By far the finest dealership around! We traveled over 30 minutes to get here but well worth it. We gave our sales person/ team what we thought was an impossible task and they delivered.

If you take your car here for inspection be sure to read all the papers they hand you because if your car fails they don't tell you upfront. They might say something like : you need breaks for inspection, which they say it the same as saying : "if you don't get the brakes done it will fail inspection ". Well it's not the same Ken and Steve. Be upfront with customers and tell them things they need to know don't hide behind some corporate bullshit . People come to you so they can get things taken care of in a honest way not to be given the run around and be kept important information from them. I know you guys don't care but Fred Beans lost loyal customer today. This used to be a customer caring business, Not anymore .
I have all ready posted my review, but it must have gone missing. I only have my service done at Fred Beans Chevrolet Service Department. they always do a great job and keep me well informed of the service needs and progress of repair. They have an excellent well trained staff.
